This place was a complete rip off for me. I took the car in for a safety and there was "too big" a divot in the windshield according to them. They wanted $480 for a new one. I talked to a windshield expert, and the damage was within the size of a quarter and hence could be repaired. So, I wasted $140 for a safety that they would not award; they tried to get $620.

Aah - to buy a car in 1 day from a great sales person - Wow! When my 18 year old Rav 4 finally gave up, I walked into Downtown Toyota and was introduced to a brand new sales person by the name of Ned Manuel. My fears that someone more experienced may be better, soon disappeared due to Ned's very natural, personable and respectful manner. Ned may not have had all the answers but he didn't pretend to either and got the answers to my questions quickly and accurately. I didn't know if I wanted a new or used vehicle so Ned had me test drive both and compared pricing. When I decided a Used Vehicle was for me based on price, it was then a matter of finding the right one. But unfortunately that vehicle was on another lot. Instead of trying to sell me what he already had on his lot, he recognized that it was the best fit for me and brought the car in for me to test drive. And he was right, it was the car for me and the deal was done. I found Ned to have a great sense of subtle humour which adds to his natural manner. One is at ease with him immediately not only because of his personality, but because he makes you feel that getting the best car for you is more important than just making any sale. Thanks Ned. Love my new car.

Poor Service at [Downtown Toyota Toronto] - V I am reviewing this publicly to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the repeated substandard service I have received at this dealership. I purchased a brand new 2023 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid from Toyota of Windsor Dealership and chose your location for my initial service appointments, a decision I now deeply regret.
My experiences have been consistently negative:
* First Service Despite being advertised as complimentary, I was incorrectly charged for this service. This immediately eroded my trust in your billing practices.
* Second Service Approximately 6,000 km): I was pressured into an unnecessary wheel alignment service at only 6,000 kilometers. While I understand the importance of vehicle maintenance, this felt like an opportunistic upsell, especially given the low mileage. Furthermore, I opted to have my seasonal tire change performed at your dealership at a significantly higher cost than other providers, expecting a higher level of service. Following a negative review based on this experience, I received an unprofessional and emotionally manipulative phone call implying my feedback negatively impacted your service staff. This response was completely unacceptable.
* Third Service : My recent service appointment was plagued with logistical issues:
* Multiple attempts to contact the service department via your IVR system resulted in being directed to voicemail for several different agents (at least five times across four individuals) and even, inexplicably, to a Ford dealership.
* The arranged courtesy Uber was dispatched to an incorrect address, forcing me, as a person with a disability, to walk to your dealership.
* The "complimentary" car wash provided was of such poor quality that it was demonstrably worse than a basic automated car wash at a gas station.
As the owner of three vehicles, I have experience with various dealership service departments. However, the level of customer service I have encountered at your location has been remarkably poor and falls far short of the expectations one has for a reputable Toyota dealership.
The underlying concern is whether Toyota's reputation for reliability is being undermined by the inconsistent and, in my case, frankly unacceptable service provided by some of its dealerships. It appears that while customers choose Toyota for its longevity, they may be inadvertently pushed towards independent service centers due to consistently poor customer service experiences at authorized dealerships.
In hopes of acquiring a prompt and thorough investigation into these issues and a clear explanation of the steps taken by management I did respond to the automated call as not satisfied but surprise it’s been 4 business day and no call back .

It has the most efficient fuel system. One single fueling can run for at least 900km. This car is not gas-powered. It is powered by gas and electricity. I want to thank Jason. I had a great experience at Downtown Toyota. I initially expected to wait a full year for a Corolla Hybrid, based on my friends’ warnings about the typical wait times. To my surprise, my car arrived in six months. I know it was still a long wait, but it was far quicker than I anticipated.

Jason guided me through the entire process and spent about 30 minutes explaining every function and feature of the vehicle. Thanks to him, I didn’t have to tackle the lengthy handbook on my own. He also provided helpful advice and offered me a great deal on maintenance, ensuring I got the best package for my needs. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend Downtown Toyota!

My overall experience with this deal has been great ! I've bought a 2013 Sienna with them.
When I started looking for a car, Wilbert Ma (sales representative) attended me and provide all the information needed even though I didn't buy a car that day, never being pushy or in a rush.
Some weeks later, he called me and was able to get a very nice deal - the car was exactly what I wanted! Wow, it was totally unexpected - you can see when a person really cares in provide a good service to a client. Until today, whenever I have a question about the car he is available to help.
